“ Really cute spot to stop in for a coffee and buy some goodies. They have magazines, posters, toys, fun knick knacks, books...worth the venture ”
“ I was lucky enough to find street parking. It was actually a really ugly weekend and I went pretty early. The ambience of this coffee shop was very relaxing. When you walk up, they have all these cute little stepping stones and an outside seated area that is shaded by trees. You can hear the ocean from here as well, so it sounds very soothing. I went inside and there was a moderate line, but it was moving very quickly. The barista's knew what they were doing, which is always a good sign. It was nice that they recognize the regulars that had showed up and if you bring a cup, they will use that cup instead, which is really proactive They have a board depicting specials as well as seasonal drinks and teas coffees as well as some food. I ordered a vanilla latte with almond milk 20 ounce hot and oh my goodness the coffee from here is amazing. It is not bitter like Starbucks or burnt tasting like some other venues, this place was amazing! If you're interested in grabbing a book or magazine, they have plenty of that here or cute little gifts and trinkets around the shop. A lot of them are actually local people that supply some of the goods. There was a lot of people in the small place so I looked around for about a couple minutes and then I left . The staff was very kind and very quick. They are great with managing the coffees or teas that are on the to go mat . Thank you ladies so much for an amazing experience. I can't wait to come back. ”
“ We stopped here on our anniversary trip down the coast and loved it!!! So welcoming and adorable with lots of kitschy little gifts and really yummy coffee. They have ice cubes made of coffee so your drink doesn't water down!!! We got an English toffee iced latte with oat and almond milk and an americano with English toffee and steamed oat. You can customize sweetness level and the coffee is delicious. We felt welcome and cared for, and will definitely stop in again when we are next in the area. I would go out of my way for it. :) ”

“ What a sweet little granola-vibe place! I think I stop here each time I am in Manzanita. A perfect 8 oz double-shot oat milk latte, cute gifty items to peruse while you wait, and a lovely tree shaded outdoor area with a fountain to watch little birds bathe in. I didn't have any, but I noticed a lot of their pastry comes from Wanda's in Nehalem and I hear that is a good thing! ”
“ We were visiting Manzanita on a birthday weekend. We stopped in for a coffee break. The store was very very cute store and coffee shop. We got a chai and a espresso. Both were delicious, hot, and quick. The customer service was great. My other half didn't know what to order but the lady made recommendation which she enjoyed in the end! ”

“ A quaint coffee spot in Manzanita, you'll be greeted with a warm hello as baristas scurry around throwing food into a microwave and marking the coffee that got shipped in last night. Serving Portland coffee company, a bit of an overused staple by many coffee houses, has a bitter, yet familiar feel. With being one of the few coffee places that has hours that makes sense, I can say I appreciated News and Espresso on a Wednesday morning when for some ungodly reason, everything else was closed. Beyond the friendly hello, I definitely felt like a tourist as baristas are not trying to get to know you, something I appreciate at 5 am. I'll be coming back the next time a Wednesday rolls around and this is my only option, of the two that are offered in the town of Manzanita ”
“ Great coffee spot, awesome chai tea latte. I highly recommend the Swatta Chai! I had mine with almond milk and cinnamon on top. The interior of the coffee shop is filled with local art, prints, and stickers. The outside is a cute patio with a bird feeder and fountain. ”
“ This coffee shop is a Manzanita must do. Their spicier sattwa chai was so wonderful that I went back for it twice on our travels. They also have a bunch of gift items, stickers, games and puzzles for sale. Whomever chooses their puzzle selection has excellent taste. It is a very chill and relaxed vibe-no matter the time of day, it is a quiet and pleasant haven. Excellent service as well. I'll be back! ”
